In the video below I explain a significant point of how to utilize a technique, in this case out of trapping hands, and how to teach it.
The difference between memorising and using is an important knowledge to deliver when we teach our students effective and efficient moves.
It is important for us teachers to understand where our students are at and what they can grasp. We have the responsibility to actually 'deliver' the idea of a move but also the idea of 'reality'.
Make sure your our students are 'set' and know whats a 'drill-technique' and whats 'reality'. At the end it all comes down to ONE decision or ONE wrong move. Make sure our ppl have the ability to make decisions according to needed situations, instead of being 'drill-masters' without actually having an idea of what is being delivered for reality.
